Professor David Farr was appointed to Carleton University’s Department of History in 1947, and has held numerous positions, including Dean of Arts and Professor Emeritus. Throughout his academic career, Professor Farr was the recipient of a plethora of awards and has been actively involved with various university groups, such as the Carleton University Press Committee and the Interfaith Committee. Farr pursued active membership in organizations such as the Canadian Historical Association and the Canadian Association of University Teachers.
