Sir Lawrence Freedman

Vice-Principal and Professor of War Studies at King’s College London, Sir Lawrence Freedman was educated at the Universities of Manchester, York and Oxford. He was elected a Fellow of the British Academy in 1995, awarded the Commander of the British Empire in 1996, and appointed the Official Historian of the Falklands Campaign in 1997. He was awarded the Knight Commander of St. Michael and St. George in 2003.
